KOTA KINABALU: Hotel guests and workers had to scramble for safety after a fire broke out at a spa in a five-star resort here yesterday. It was believed that the fire started in one of the sauna rooms before spreading to the men’s changing room at the Nexus Karambunai Resort and Spa at about 1pm.
Sembulan Fire and Rescue station chief Ariffin Harris said the cause of the fire and total losses are still being investigated.
